Meaningful screen time has a purpose and an ending. Choose the story together, stay nearby when possible, and connect the screen experience to an offline question or activity.

Use a simple before–during–after rhythm

Before: choose the story and say why. During: pause only when curiosity appears. After: draw a new character, retell the ending, act out a scene, or talk about one choice.
